Adolescents and teens are experiencing a particularly difficult time in their lives. They find it difficult to stay connected to their parents while searching for their own identity at the same time. They often feel isolated and alone even when they are surrounded by friends. This can be confusing for everyone.

I have over a decade of experience working with adolescents and teens.  Just like adults, teens need a space to be seen and heard-- not fixed.  When they begin to trust that the goal of therapy is not to fix them they most often begin to use the counseling relationship to grow and heal.
